Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have continued their battle for
the most outrageous outfit at the MTV Video Music Awards. Aguilera wore
a scarf made into a blouse and a very small mini-skirt. Britney chose
a leather dress, matching hat and lace-up stilettos. Kelly Osbourne arrived
with a crimped black bob and bright yellow eye shadow. She also had on
a four-finger ring in the shape of a keyboard and a black jacket that
read 'I'm not strange. You are' on the back, with the message 'my boyfriend
is out of town' on the front. Kylie Minogue wore a white wraparound mid-riff-baring
dress. Jennifer Lopez showed off a new short and curly haircut.
Christina gets dirty for new single

Christina Aguilera is set to make a raunchy comeback with new song Let’s
Get Dirty. The track, which features a guest appearance by rap star Redman,
is expected to surface at some stage next month and her new album should
follow in October. Aguilera has collaborated with a variety of artists
for her new record including Alicia Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist
Dave Navarro, and producers Glen Ballard famous for working with Alanis
Morissette and Aerosmith, and Linda Perry who has been involved with Pink
and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Paul Hunter, who has directed clips for Jennifer
Lopez and Mariah Carey, will shoot the video for Let’s Get Dirty
in Los Angeles. Aguilera’s last solo release was My Kind Of Christmas
two years ago and before that her self titled debut album in 1999 which
sold over 7.9 million copies. Since then she has collaborated with the
likes of Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink for a cover of LaBelle's Lady Marmalade
and performed a duet with Ricky Martin for the song Nobody Wants To Be
Lonely. Just Be Free, a collection of early tracks made when the artist
was around 14-years-old was also released last September by the Warlock
label.
