FHM. Britney Spears beat off Monica Bellucci (Matrix)
who was last year's winner.
More than 220,000 readers
participated in the survey, that took place between

Another Michael Jackson scuffle? No, just an elaborately
planned stunt, masterminded by Britney Spears to celebrate
the birthday of her older brother Bryan, 27 on April
19. Taking time out from her world tour, the pop princess
hired actors to pose as FBI agents and arrest Bryan
while she and her sibling were near her Santa Monica
home. With fake celebrity photographers in tow, the
"agents" took a handcuffed Bryan to the local
club Space, where 50 or so friends shouted, "surprise!"
As go-go dancers entertained and guests snacked on crab
cakes, Bryan was surprised yet again when Carmen Electra
and her racy Pussyycat dolls took the stage at 9 p.m.
for a 20-minute set. Bryan "loved it-he was in
shock," says a partygoer. Then Spears came on to
sing "Happy Birthday" a capella clas in the
Pussycat Dolls costume of bra, panties, corset, and
fishnet stockings. She seemed very comfortable. "She
looked in the mirror and said, 'Oh my God, I love this!"
says Robin Antin, creator of the group. "She felt
sexy right away-she was getting into it". Spears,
22, reveled in her costume until 11 p.m. before changing
into jeans and dancing to the beat of the music (old
school hip hop) played by deejay Pesce until 2 a.m.

Everytime
Is About Reincarnation
Britney's new video Everytime
that premiered one day after Easter caused some controversy,
in which her wrist suddenly starts bleeding. What appears
to be a red bracelet on Britney Spear's wrist becomes
a line of blood, only apparent when she puts her hand
in the bathtub and a cloud of red fog appears.
The original idea for
Everytime was Britney taking her own life, however now
it appears that Britney passes awar from a more mysterious
way.
Spears ends up in a hospital
where a mother gives birth. In the end the video shows
a naked Britney Spears emerging from the bathtub, showing
that life still continues.
"It's more like a movie," Spears explained
when she called in to "TRL" on Monday. "It's
different than anything I've ever done. It's dark, and
it shows me in a different light. Of course, I'm going
to go back and do dance videos, but I wanted to be inspired
and challenged." Britney explained to TRL that
it was about reincarnation.

SORRY, BUT I'D RATHER MEET MADONNA than the president
of the United States. Madonna has this thing about her
that you can't explain - the thing that makes somebody
a star. When she walks into the room, you just have
to take notice. She's so comfortable with herself, and
she's not afraid to live life to the fullest and to
say whatever she feels, no matter what anyone thinks.
There's something kind of childlike about that; it's
a beautiful, amazing thing.
Madonna
was the first female pop star to take control of every
aspect of her career and to take responsibility for
creating her image, no matter how much flash she might
get. She's proved that she can do so many different
things - music and movies and being a parent, too. Her
music has become iconic: Songs like 'Holiday' or 'Live
to Tell' are timeless - not just disposable hits. They
feel like home. She has her spells of being moody and
vibey and spiritual, but her words are so easy to relate
to. She's a diva and does what she wants, but she's
a loving person.
The
first time I met her was when I flew to visit her at
one of her shows in 2001. I walked into her dressing
room, and her daughter, Lola, was there and I felt really
nervous. I said to Madonna, 'Can I just hug you?' I
was so stupid ! But she was so nice about it. I would
definitely not be here, doing what I'm doing, if it
wasn't for Madonna. I remember being eight or nine years
old, running around my living room singing and dancing
and wanting so much to be like her. All my girlfriends
still listen to her stuff. We're all mesmerized by her.
Madonna's stage presence has inspired so many artists
- you can see her influence in some of the younger generation
like Kelly Clarkson and Shakira, who have picked up
some of her moves.
As
part of the generation that's coming up, you look at
Madonna and you don't want to let her down. That's such
a motivation for me. I love doing what I do, but when
Madonna comes around - like when we were making the
video for 'Me Against the Music' - it's like, 'Everybody
get your act together - the godmother is here'.
Madonna
has done so much, and she's been around so long, and
the bitch still looks good! She's spent years in the
public eye, and that can be really hard for anyone to
deal with. But she dug deep and started writing from
her heart, and that's therapy to keep you going. Madonna
has so much light inside her, and she's so much more
noticeable than all the rest of us. She stuck to what
she believed in and did what she felt, and that was
part of her art - to just be herself.

Fool Joke?
A rumor has been going
around Britney Spears message boards that Britney's
next single Everytime would be replaced by Brave New
Girl. It seems someone had fabricated the news story
making it appear from MTV news. World of Britney got
to the bottom of this and contacted MTV directly. When
asked them if there was any truth to this, they said
"absolutely not, and that Corey Moss is not even
the person in charge of Britney news at MTV". Brave
New Girl is NOT the new single. 'Everytime' will premiere
in a couple of weeks on MTV.

No Go
For Cleveland
Britney Spears postponed
her concert Thursday night at Gund Arena, her third
postponement in many weeks, reportedly owing to an illness.
Publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik said she didn't know
specifics of Spears' illness. The singer postponed two
shows in mid-March because of a knee injury suffered
while performing in Moline, III. Many fans were disappointed
as they showed up and saw a message board above the
ticket windows flashed the rescheduled date, June 29.
